Good, solid episode, not the best of the season, the 'JJ' one is so far but much better than the season premiere or episode 6.3.
I did love all the Garcia and Hotch moments. Hotch is very tolerant of Garcia's quirkiness. That tell us that Hotch is more interested in what Garcia can bring to the Team, competence, brightness, enthusiasm to a job that more often than not would kill your soul, then her being a proper FBI employe. That is why Hotch will always clash with Strauss who will always care more about FBI protocol, the FBI image, than results.
One of the best scene was when Morgan told Garcia that she was at her best when she was...Garcia and no one else.
The case could have been a bit better. I felt writer Breen Fraiser wanted to go some places that maybe TPTB didn't want him to go.Would have been interesting to see him in a room with Hotch and Morgan, two alpha males, see how he would have reacted.Instead him being killed by Prentiss felt like the easy way out.
'Compromising Position' was a good Garcia and Hotch episode where both had to deal with the lost of JJ as a coworker.
So my rating for this episode is a 8/10
